Trauma, depression, anxiety, and substance use can disrupt lives, making seemingly simple everyday tasks effortful. Therapy can help. My approach to helping people overcome these and other difficulties is tailored to each individual’s needs. Together, we work as a team, and I offer guidance and support as we collaboratively identify what would be the most helpful for you, given your particular concerns and goals. Your therapeutic journey will give you answers and help you live a life that feels more fulfilling. My extensive training in a variety of treatment modalities will give us a comprehensive toolbox to work with, which is important because each person’s therapeutic journey is unique. My personal style is warm and gentle, and I’m an active and engaged therapist.

My clinical training has included placements at the Center for Motivation and Change, Mount Sinai Beth Israel, Nassau University Medical Center, and the Western Queens Consultation Center, providing psychotherapy to adults, adolescents, children, and families in inpatient, outpatient, and intensive day program settings as well as schools and community clinics. I have specialized training in evidenced-based treatment for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and addiction. Additional research and clinical interests include eating disorders, depression, attachment issues, anxiety, emotion regulation, life transitions, and interpersonal problems.
